I’m Hatim Kaouakib, founder of Omed Trading Co., Ltd., a global sourcing and trading company based in China. My journey in international trade began in 2013, when I started working for a freight forwarding company in Morocco. Over five years, I gained valuable experience in logistics, customs procedures, and global shipping operations, building a strong foundation in the international business environment.

In 2018, I moved to China to further develop my expertise. I earned a Master’s degree in International Trade from Shandong University of Finance and Economics while simultaneously working with a Chinese trading company, where I learned the ins and outs of factory operations, supplier management, and product sourcing.

From 2020 to 2025, I pursued a PhD in International Trade and Economics, focusing my research on cross-border e-commerce and global supply chains. During this period, I collaborated with multiple Chinese factories and handled a wide range of products, strengthening my understanding of both domestic and international markets.

After years of experience and strong relationships built across China’s manufacturing sector, I decided to establish Omed Trading. My goal is to help global clients find reliable suppliers, negotiate the best prices, and ensure smooth shipping and delivery from China to their countries.

At Omed Trading, I combine academic knowledge, practical experience, and on-the-ground insights to provide clients with professional sourcing solutions and long-term partnerships they can trust.
